is a Canadian children's author from the south coast of British Columbia, where she lives and writes on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded shared territory of the Stó:lō Peoples, also known as the Fraser Valley. 

Her debut picture book A Perfect Word to Gift the Moon illustrated by the whimsically talented artist Kat Cearns publishes fall 2026 by Heritage House Publishing. 

Often imprinted by moments with her own two children, Megan writes stories to inspire curiosity and wonder—pathways to kind, playful, and imaginative childhoods. Her books are especially imbued with nature and environment with the hope that her words add a drop to the ripple effect to protect our natural world.
